Create Jira Issues in Slack Connect Shared Channels
Jira Integration+ eliminates the copy and paste process of Slack conversations into Atlassian by allowing users to create Jira issues with Slack actions in Slack Connect shared channels.
The application will also show all custom fields for the issue type.
What to know:
- You can select project and issue type related to user concern.
- You then have the option to select custom fields and modify information relating to the ticket you would like to update.
Create Jira Issues in Slack Connect Shared Channels
- Navigate to the more actions button located to the right of slack message
- Select "Create Jira Issue"
- If you do not see “Create Jira Issue,” select “More message shortcuts...” and type Jira to find the action
- From here you can select your specific project and issue type:
